Southern Hospitality Blog Featured Our Home On Feature Friday!

When Rhoda from Atlanta emailed me about being featured in an up and coming feature friday post I thought I had died and gone to heaven.  Thanks to our sweet Texas friend Joni from the fabulous design blog Cote de Texas's post on our home I was so thrilled and excited but didn't think anyone else might post on our home again.  I am so excited to post that Rhoda did a lovely post on our home.  I feel so blessed and honored and I wish to thank both these lovely southern ladies for their kindness and true hospitality.
So please feel free to check out her post on www.southernhospitalityblog.com today.
And I welcome new followers always to my blog.  Come and stay for a while.
Thank you kindly,
xoxo

LOVE your home. It is so gracious. It looks like a home that can be "lived in"...which is SO important!! (Some homes are just meant to LOOK pretty!!) I lived 30 minutes from Nell Hill's in Atchison, KS., for almost 20 years. Oh. My. Gosh. I LOVE that store. Now that I live in Oklahoma, I still make a trip up to KC and Atchison at least twice a year to shop there. In fact I am headed up there in two weeks. My friends and I would always do the several-times-a-year-tours of MCG house as well. (Be still my heart!). Just wanted you to know, how much I enjoyed your house....and the grounds as well. Just beautiful. Lori Lucas

Wow Lori, I'm truly jealous. 30 minutes away. Why we would be best friends if I lived by you taking trips every week to go to Mary's.
Thanks for you lovely comments.

Just popping in to say hi Lisa! I found your blog through Rhoda at Southern Hospitality. I especially enjoyed her post today of your beautiful farmhouse. I will be a regular reader of your blog now as I too live in Bucks County. My husband and I moved here 10 months ago after living most of our lives in SoCal. We are still learning our way around and I look forward to reading your posts about the area! So far we love it here! Anyway, thanks for listening and I look forward to reading your blog!

I came to your blog from Southern Hospitality to tell you that your home is gorgeous! I love the blues in your house. I keep trying to add more blue, but my husband wants to have other colors as well. I keep telling him that blue is my favorite!

I read the article Rhoda did on your home and congratulations on a job well done. It is rare I see a home that I could just move into, but yours is one of those. We live in Texas and are getting ready to build our final custom home (my husband is an architect) and I have loads of inspirations to incorporate. I will be following your blog too. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Your house is amazing!! I read your house story and I loved it!
I grew up in Jonesboro, Ga. about twenty- five minutes outside Atlanta. Gone with the wind was filmed in Jonesboro and surrounding area. After I saw GWTW when I was about 10, my mom took me to the house that was used to film the interior scenes for Tara. I was soo intrigued,I wanted to go in soo bad; needless to say it was someone's home. To this day I love to watch GWTW and am still mesmerized by it. I am also mesmerized by the Miracle on 34th Street as well. I am sorry if I went on and on, but it is not everyday that you find a GWTW fan!

Blessings,

Ellisann
